i think we are tripped up by the notion that column A must only correspond to objects in column B.
see here:
starting wth the blue lines - clippers are used to cut flowers for the young lady. glasses are worn on the nose and ears, making it possible to see and smell cut flowers (yellow line).
green line is smile produced from this interaction.
red line connects the remaining objects of cotton buds to the eyes and nose due to allergic reaction.
