The story so far is sooooo deliciously strange. The guy said He spent summers with the royal princes, had masters in economy and physics. The people who worked with him said He used taking the subway because He was used to public transport in London, He also instituted the 5:00 pm tea ritual at work and decided to live in Brazil after suffering a heartbreak in England. When questioned about this dual identity, the judge confirmed his long name and said that the other person was a twin brother. Unfortunately, he was unable to explain how two twins could have different fathers and be born on the same day on two sides of the Atlantic.

My husband says that Chipotle is “Mexican food for people who don’t like Mexican food”.

I don’t know since I’ve never eaten Chipotle food, but I’ll take his word for it. (Also, this can apply to Taco Bell since the early to mid-1980s.)

Two things about Chipotle: if you do a lot of cross-country driving and are a vegan, it’s your best option by far; and, they hire people who barely (if that) speak English, so they’re a good employer for the recently-arrived from Mexico and Central America.

You would think a judge would know that he could have just changed his name.

Maybe add is a Skywalker while he was at it.

Edit;

Kathy Plantagenet Part von Deux - it has a ring.

Member of the house of the lords on the kingdom of Narnia, knight of the order of the lightsabers and bearer of the banner of the millenium falcon.

Despite having deceived the University of São Paulo, where He studied law, and the Justice Department of the State of São Paulo, where He was appointed judge after passing a public exam. The fake English lord was only unmasked when He needed a second copy of an identity document. A clerk checked his fingerprints and noticed something strange, then He called the authorities. The judge said He would travel to London and take His twin to the Brazilian Embassy and wasn´t contacted since then.

The São Paulo State Court issued a statement saying that despite the long false name, the judge was qualified to perform his duties and that no sentence will be changed. Skeptics believe that this will depend on the skin color of the defendants.

I occasionally hear tiny ticky ticky footsteps in the bedroom ceiling, and they always come out in the kitchen. I’d get up in the morning to see 6 cats (at one point) lined up in front of the stove.

And how would you hold it? Even folded up, it must be pretty unwieldy.

Longways, let it hang like a breastplate or an unwieldy medallion across your chest.

I remember my parents once had a friend of a friend up to our cottage; a Scottish guy, who was in the Royal Air Force (RAF), I believe, who claimed to be a Baron. Once internet happened, I started checking into it, and damn! He was a Baron and retired as a General. To think that a Peer used my outhouse!

I hope he washed his hands.

His choice of name was almost as much of a giveaway as I. M. Fayke.

I had a friend I met in a college class when I went back to school at 27. She and her husband were in their 50s and from Sweden. They would invite my husband and I over for dinner from time to time. They also were nobility (Baron and Baroness) and had adult children. Their son was closer to our age and while he was visiting from Sweden, I took him out to a few places with a friend. I remember him laughing and telling me, “Sure, I’ll inherit a title, but it means zero in a country like Sweden.” His mom’s previous single life was way more interesting since she was a model in Stockholm and London during the swinging 60s. :smiley:
