Because it’s utter bullshit.
So ICE agents?
That doesn’t normally stop coverage.
I hope your friends’ kid comes out of this ordeal unscathed. I mean, imaging being forced to endure Fox News.
Well, FUCK!
Thankfully nobody was hurt.
This was just in the news on the radio. The working theory seems to be that something went spectacularly wrong while installing or testing the pyrotechnics for the show.
Which nobody actually cares about. Attendees were more interested in initiatives for cooling the crowds than fire. There are lights. There is loud music. They dgaf about fireworks.
Looks like the testing might have saved lives here. Yes, the test failed, but the testing did its job and made sure the danger was discovered before the event.
And they were able to save the rest of the festival- They’re just closing that stage and going ahead with the rest of the event:
“It will be replaced by our new variety show All Praise To Trump! featuring a variety of white people explaining how great our Dear Leader is! Don’t miss it!”
Hosted by Greg Gutfield!
Well, sure some people will pay 75% more, and some of us will be paying nothing to insurance because we won’t be able to afford insurance at all anymore. Yep, that’s me! On the bright side, for what I’m paying now in a year for insurance and copays, I can afford to visit the doctor one or two times, have my one important blood test, and buy my medications. If nothing goes wrong, I’ll be completely fine!
Nothing goes wrong as people age, right? It’s going to be fine, surely!
That mammogram was kinda optional wasn’t it? I mean, they never found anything but a shit ton of cysts. And, I can probably afford the mole patrol at the dermatologist so long as she finds nothing out of the ordinary, it’ll be fine! Totally fine, nothing to worry about.
“…It’s none of those things. Shut up. It isn’t. We aren’t cowards. Stop saying that. It has nothing to do with the various humiliating rituals we were forced to do after capitulating to T****.”
Sure, Jan.
I bet Daily Show will be next on the Skydance chopping block.
On the plus side, there is no reason to watch CBS ever again.
My only other show on that network is CBS Sunday Morning. I grew up watching that with my family, and it’s mostly coverage of arts and cultural stories that would be missed. Still, I’m pissed enough to let it go. I’d been falling behind on Trek because of cord-cutting anyway. I’ll just have to remain out of the loop and avoid spoilers for another year (or however long it takes for those in power to change course).
Yeah, I don’t know what’s going to happen with Trek…
