Yeah, meither neither.
Perhaps the filter was chosen by someone who’s never been there.

I thought it was trying to look prehistoric, or something like that.
Well that’s definitely not the U.P. Gonna freeze their tushes off.
…those poor ginger and plumeria plants, too!
Do they include the many arse kissings currently chafing Tromp’s hind quarters?
Well, that does qualify as cheek kissing, but I don’t see the U.S. showing up significantly on that map.
Triple Brezhnev or GTFO!
And that’s just the dismount!
I guess we should be looking for ways to have migrants go to college.
Yeah, that’s what happens when people literally cannot afford to have and support kids any more (let alone send them to college). Too bad the right’s “solution” isn’t to make it so people have their basic needs met, but to restrict sex education, birth control and abortions in an attempt to force the existence of children who will grow up in poverty and squalor.
“The world needs ditchdiggers, too.”
– some dickhead character I hated in an old movie*

OMG! It was Ted Knight!
Certainly wasn’t Ted Lasso!
Funny, I heard my family watching that show in the other room, and they said I should watch it, but what I heard just sounded like a British sports show, so I said nah, not my kind of thing.
But then one night I was out there and saw a whole episode, and it was so good, the only thing to do was to then watch the entire series. Turns out it was exactly my kind of thing. I just didn’t know it at first glance. And I think that was one of the points the show was making.
Yeah, using the same bags for many years isn’t unreasonable.
Last year I donated during my public radio station’s pledge drive and just received a cotton tote bag today (I’ve secretly coveted the NPR tote bag for years and I’m honestly pretty excited about it). It’s nice AF and should last for at least a few decades if I manage to not lose it:
That was my experience as well. My sister raved about the show but I was all “I hate stupid sports” and never looked at it. Until I did, and then Pussycat and I binged the whole show during the final season. I’d recognized Sudeikis from Watching the Detectives, Portlandia and 30 Rock - I’d quit watching SNL years ago at that point so hadn’t seen as much of him as most USians I guess - but Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple and Brett Goldstein were new to me. What a cast! What a show! Glad I watched it. Still hate sports.
You have to love Eric Braeden!
He was good as a baddie in one of the Monkey movies (Escape From?), and like Susan Lucci, he found his calling working for years for the same tv show. Not necessarily a soap fan, but I respect the man for his years of dedication.
