Since I canât find the rest of âThe Bob Newhart Showâ (season five, specifically) to watch online for free without having to open an account, Iâve gone on to âNewhartâ, season one.
TL;DR Itâs not really ending, theyâre allegedly splitting it into (at last count) four other shows

In the mood of the trailer thatâs been pretty much everywhere Iâve looked today, I went back and watched the 1984 Dune.
I still donât like the âinner monologueâ stuff (it also annoyed the heck out of me in the book after a certain point), and the âweirding modulesâ choice was, well⌠weird. But otherwise, I still like that version. It really could have used a chance to spread out over a second movie or something so it could do more showing and less telling, butâŚ

Exploring underground catacombs that canât possibly be that big, the bridge that would crack under three peopleâs weight if it were a real object, and then it starts disappearing without falling, they have to solve all these little puzzles and the elevator still works even though itâs under water
It just seems like video game logic to me, thatâs where Iâve seen that style of storytelling before

There was some other movie I was thinking about going back and watching, but when I went to look I couldnât for the life of me remember what it was.
Soooo⌠I settled on rewatching a shut the brain off, popcorn flick. Something old and silly, with no possibility of parallels to the present day.
Shit. I swear, the intro is Trumpâs wet dream. Itâs just missing a plague.
On the bright side, at least I know whoâs cast as the bad guysâŚ

More like the Goonies. Did no one else notice that they were under constant pressure with only 2 hours for all of that, and although they entered in Boston, the elevator out was in Chicago?! Also that a water trap in a damp environment is probably the second-worst possible place to preserve an ancient document other than maybe hiding it in the fireplace?
