Well it was directed by Michael Bay, so you’re not wrong.
I saw that at the end of the movie. Had I noticed when it started, I’d have not bothered.
The Joan Jett documentary on Hulu was really good and easy to watch. She was more punk than I realized.
It’s a Christmas story, and it’s on Netflix, so now is the time
NSFW, not for kids, not for most adults probably either
Could you expand a bit? I’m half intrigued and half terrified!
Imagine John Wick in Toon Town.
This. It’s sooooo hilarious!
Mom was a fan. And only a month or two younger than AL.
Everything that no sane or responsible person would put in a Christmas show, is in this show
It’s based on a comic book written by Grant Morrison
EDIT: I guess maybe imagine a (mostly) live-action South Park gangster movie?
It’s sort of superheroey too. It’s a cop show too. Reminds me of Sandman Slim.
The more you guys explain, the less intriguing it sounds to me!
It’s a heartwarming holiday tale of
a burnout ex-cop turned hitman who does copious amounts of drinking/drugs and is therefore used to hallucinations, except for this one annoying hallucination that just won’t leave him alone and claims to be the imaginary friend of a little girl who’s been kidnapped by a Very Bad Man.
Together, the burnout hitman and the hallucination go on a hilarious and violent romp through the seedy underbelly of the city during the holiday season in their attempt to rescue the little girl and get her home for Christmas. There’s also a side-thread that’s more Hallmark-movie-ish…kinda.
It’s weird and silly, but also dark.
So… the performances and the characters are the real thing. The rest isn’t really describable except to say that it’s a wild-ass comic book thing.
Patton Oswald plays the title character. That guy from Lawnorder plays his sidekick who is also a terrible driver.
It is offensive and horrible, and also funny, but definitely not for everybody
So anyway, if the same guy does Illuminatus! maybe it will at least live up to the source material
Yaas. It was one of my first “what the fuck am I reading right now?” moments.
I found the first season funny enough to keep watching, but the second seemed to drop the funny for extra doses of offensive and mean-spirited. I gave up after a couple of episodes.
In the final episode Happy meets God, who is voiced by Jeff Goldblum
Well, nearly done with the first season. It has been worth the time
My husband and I binged You’re the Worst. Season three lost it a bit, but it was really excellent. Continuing my series of great finales…
Picked up the DVD version of Good Omens fairly cheap to stick on the Plex server, so I’m re-watching it.
Only up to the second episode so far, but my main complaint so far is that they kept "Dog"s initial moments offscreen. They were already doing CGI, even without a narrator that scene could have been hilarious.
I’m on the second season of “Barnaby Jones”.
