Whatcha Watchin'?

I watch both these folks. I’ve found I can’t watch Stephen Colbert anymore because he has an audience. And no, I didn’t watch Jon Stewart’s recent rant; poor guy’s jumped the shark, it appears.

I think I posted it in the Not Feminism 100 thread…or somewhere on here, lol.

I love this channel and these videos. It’s good to see a police officer with a non-twisted sense of humor.

I remember when this first broadcast, but I don’t think we watched it. Definitely a prototype for “Robin Hood: Men in Tights”.

Geez, only half a season? Well, that’s better than just one episode. Maybe.

And it’s Bernie Kopell’s 88th birthday today, btw

Listening to it made me think that Steve Jobs might have had a point about fans, though.

I’m fairly certain the whole thing was a joke. I don’t think he actually believes in the lab leak theory… but yeah, I still watch Colbert, but it’s weird with an audience now…

I don’t either, but stilllll…

Amber’s gonna have an audience when she comes back from hiatus in August. Waaaaaaaaah!

I think Seth doesn’t want one. I really do. But he will anyhow.

I’m interested in seeing how that changes the dynamic of the show. It will no longer be just her and Tarik, but now them and an audience…

Binge-watching “Schitt’s Creek”. On season 3. I like it.

I is here

Reminded of this one by an article recently, and figured I’d see how much I would cringe watching through it.

“Sneakers” was a gem, dunno why they tried to make a sequel…

I remember that, I kinda liked it.

It’s so fun and just keeps getting better each season.

It was hard to get into and we gave up after a couple episodes the first time we tried watching it. But about a year ago we tried again, stuck with it, and it just gets better and better and really grows on you. The character interaction is great.

I started watching clips on YouTube, which got me wanting to see what led to/came after said clips.

Plus growing up watching Mr. Levy and Ms. O’Hara on SCTV. And Chris Elliott.

Well, if I ignored a lot of the acting… and some of the costuming… and just how hard they struggled to try to make people look “cool” while sloooooowly typing on keyboards and wearing cabled devices for no reason… and the really rather distressing mix of accurate tech dialog one moment, then immediately diving into complete nonsensical fantasy…

Yeah, I cringed through it.

(Though, even though I was of course joking about the “sequel” thing earlier, there are a lot of odd parallels between Sneakers and Hackers. But I’ll take the earlier movie any day.)

And I just watched “The Hospies” from season five, and the last bit had me weeping ever so slightly, as Moira might say (I adore her vocabulary).
