Watched this movie last night. It was really good. Funny throughout with some laugh out loud moments, some deep satire of modern life, and a splash of real weirdness.

Iā€¦v-v-v-ayg-leeee remember this. Iā€™ve got the trailer on pause as I type this. This isnā€™t the trailer I remember, though.

For me another case of a ton of familiar music that Iā€™ve never heard of the artistā€¦

The splash:

Your metaphor may be a bit understated. This is a movie that starts with a fairly serious (and absurd) look at how race impacts success at work, and ends with the protagonist transformed into a mutant horse.

Seeing it in the theater, you could hear every single person holding their breath. It was glorious.

This was my first exposure to him, and the best, IMNSHO:

Binging ā€œThe Simpsonsā€; started from the very beginning. On season 3 now. Hereā€™s one of their best episodes, ā€œHomer at the Batā€ (of all time, IMNSHO):

Iā€™m back playing Marty DiBergi,ā€ he said. ā€œThe band was upset with the first film. They thought I did a hatchet job and this is a chance to redeem myself. I am such a big fan and I felt bad they didnā€™t like what they saw in the first film. When I heard they might get back together, I was a visiting adjunct teacherā€™s helper at the Ed Wood School of Cinematic Arts. I drop everything to document this final concert.ā€
