Yeah, I hung in there for the whole entire season, unfortunately; it was so bad.
Are they trying to replace the Inception āBRAAAHā with a siren as a generic background dramatic musical cue?
Because I am all for that.
And Iām pumped for this movie, too (in a way that Iām not for Avengers 4).
Blade Runner fans should like this even though itās not about the future
It stays good, gets better if anything. There are at least four shows out there with this vaguely LaĀ JetĆ©e storyline, and Travelers is as good as any of them.
Similar except way way better
Yes, itās an X-Men TV show. Just give it a chance.
Not watching, yet, but if itās even half as funny as the thread that inspired it, I will want to.
Yes, this one I like. Similar production values as many ABC/CBS/NBC/USA shows, but a storyline covering many of the family themes in X-Men 2. I also like that it has Amy Acker (Root from Person of Interest).
Plus, it gives many minor mutant characters a chance to shine.
Also Fred in Angel, and, in a role that I am very grumpy never got revisited (or even referenced again), a nun/fairy named Nova in Once Upon a Time.
Whiskey from dollhouse.
The Man in the High Castle, October 5th.
Watching season 2 of Iron Fist, because Misty Knight and Madam Gao. Lordy, that guy is such a tuber.
I just canāt bring myself to watch it, not even for Misty & Gao.
I did just finish the season finale of Killjoys; it was pretty good.
Iām excited for their last season.
donāt get your hopes up on that front.
Netflix finally has The Flash, so I am watching it for the first time.
Iām mostly enjoying it, despite (and partly because of) its faults. Itās fun to yell at the TV when they get basic science wrong. Itās fun to watch the absurdity. Itās fun to roll my eyes at the soppy maudlin bits.
It rather feels like reading comic books as an 8 year old kid that way.
Thereās this whole zany, joyful comic book vibe that you get on this show and other DC shows, but that simply doesnāt show up in the Snyderverse on the big screen.
So count me in as yet another person who wishes DC would smarten up and make their films more like their TV shows. I mean, I did like Nolanās Batman [ducks], but Batman really is dark. The others not so much.
I was mostly there for Carlos Martin (one of my favorite Law & Order cast), but during the third season I just couldnāt keep up with all the alternate realities.
The thing is, Nolanās Batman is gritty, but itās not as grim and humorless as itās remembered. Like when Bruce tells Alfred that if heās caught, Bruce will tell the police that it was all Alfredās idea. Or when Fox points out the absurdity of attempting to blackmail a vigilante.
The Nolan movies arenāt the rapid-fire witticism machines that the MCU movies are, but theyāre still funny.
Can we give the next batman film to the people who made Gotham? That would be good.
Iām hella behind on movies;
I just watched Solo & Ready Player One over the weekend.
I enjoyed both films.
Watched The Endless on Netflix and was pleasantly surprised. Itās a Lovecraftian film with emphasis on existensial dread and otherworldly space/time. Not very scary just creepy.
Thank you for mentioning. Netflix says that has a 94% match for me (and I agree just from your description), yet somehow it hasnāt recommended it to me. Now I have something to watch this weekend.
