Whatchya Workin' On, O Creatives?

Hopefully that makes it less appealing for the feline(s)!

Not exactly creative, but I de-stuffed, washed, and then re-stuffed my 25 year old tiger.

There are bug screens like these. The basic principle of curved support rods might be adapted to something that attached to the couch, maybe via bungees with hooks on the underside of the couch.

Or, keeping it simpler, a bamboo A-frame covered in mesh?

Holden.

Yep, Holden
At our house he is the doctor for all my kid’s stuffies. Helping when they are injured or sick and administering vaccines

One of my daughters had a goth one. You know all black gauze and dreamcatchers and stuff.

Don’t know if that’s more your style!

Our youngest was given a stuffed tiger when they were a day old. It was much bigger than they were.

That tiger is still in their bed.

His name is, of course, Hobbes.

Not exactly goth - but I could definitely see something in the dark blue or dark green palette!

Dream catchers still work though?

I would probably find a way to work in small pieces of wood, such as scraps I have of walnut, white oak, madrone and purpleheart.

With a semi-circular/half octagon frame attached high you could hang a curtain of fabric without having to worry about sag. Is it to deter the cat or just add comfi-/cosi-ness?

It might look a bit fantasy medieval

Perfect, he shall like it

Now that I have a new phone, I can actually move around and shoot footage of my works instead of having to hold them in front of my lappie camera!

…aaaaand I’m out of free shows on Mixcloud. Plan ahead? I did not. Pay the subscription? I will not. I had kept each installment at 1.5 to 2 hours, which meant splitting some years up into 2 volumes. Mistake. I’ll have to go back and combine those before I can upload the 1988-89 mix.

around the time of Siamese Dream, Smashing Pumpkins released a version of DM - NLMDA. it’s pretty great. if you haven’t heard it, it’s worth a listen. Corgan’s singing is always a little hit-or-miss, but mostly hit here, and his arrangement and playing is great
