They are blowing so much smoke it’s not funny. SQL injection is a solved problem for decades, order of magnitudes easier to stop, and it’s still a major problem.
Rod Stewart faces backlash for AI video of Ozzy Osbourne taking selfies with other dead musicians

Holy fucking shit! He did not die, but only by the grace of God. I am baffled by the things people do that they assume are “healthy.” But “I’ve done my own research!” is an increasingly common refrain.
Me too, OpenAI, me too.
The fact that these AI products suck and are far less capable than claimed is not at all surprising. But I admit that it’s still somewhat shocking to me how little effort (zero, really) that these companies are putting into double-checking their prepared presentations that they use to show off these products during the public launches. They’ve all been publicly embarrassed, repeatedly, for showing off high-profile pre-recorded demos where the AI systems are lying to us about everything from what planets a space telescope discovered to what kind of cheese is most popular. You’d think that at this point the CEOs would be tired of that kind of news coverage and would pay someone to check the demos. Is this one of those cases where there’s no such thing as bad publicity?
Uh oh, going be hard to find parking at the AI Pentagon on Monday.
