Rahm Emanuel is definitely setting up to run for President in 2028.

Put another asshole in the White House isn’t as compelling a message as he thinks. I hope.

Ugh. I can easily imagine the Dem contenders, a long list of corporate-funded bland sellouts, with one or maybe two slightly further left options (who will have no chance of securing the nomination).

Ugh, no one wants these mediocre neo-liberal repubilcan lite dudes running…

Like Newsom; he’s already making statements about the party needing to hop on the transphobia bandwagon.

So no one needs to click.

“Among those who identified as Democrats, 31.5 percent ranked Buttigieg as their top choice for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination.

New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the most progressive members of the party, came in second place with 19.4 percent and Harris ranked third with 16.6 percent of the vote.

Other top candidates included Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey (10.4 percent), California Governor Gavin Newsom (7.1 percent), Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (4.8 percent) and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (3.7 percent).“

I’m surprised not to see Pritzker and Walz listed in there. Maybe they weren’t options?

I actually did click through, I just wanted to shade Silver… :grimacing:

Yeah, this is often the problem with this kind of polling? How are they creating the questions for people to answer in the first place… it’s a weird thing where they shape the polling in particular ways, and that ends up coming back as some sort of gospel truth?

I dunno… I general, I’ve come to really wonder how helpful polling actually is in our political environment.

I still think the Walz-AOC ticket is a winner, but that’s just me!

Every time someone tries to gotcha someone for opposing Israeli genoocide in Gaza, they should start their answer with, “Just like the majority of American Jews,…”

Let the Zionists try to prove them wrong.
