On the conservative “Relatable” podcast, Snyder said that it’s not just business needs that are pushing her to the outskirts of Nashville. California, it seems, has started to wear on the heiress who once owned a mansion in the gated, secretive San Gabriel Mountain foothills. “There’s a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here. Doing business is not easy here,” Snyder said.
“It will be wonderful having an office out there,” Snyder continued. “Growing out there, and being able to have the family (and other peoples’ families) out there.”
Later in the podcast, Snyder went on to say that, as part of the company’s long-planned expansion east, she consulted, among other people, Nashville’s own Kid Rock, who playfully redrew the company’s expansion boundaries to make sure it included Tennessee. Currently, Snyder said, there are no plans to actually move much farther northeast from there (sorry, New York). “Florida has begged us, and we’re still saying no,” Snyder said. “The East Coast states, we’re still saying no.”
