A drama degree from a prominent school is also important these days, although some get away without it. For some reason the Hollywood hype machine tends to downplay that a lot of actors have those.
Used to be actors would talk about if theyâd studied with Lee Strasbourg or whomever. The only actor who springs to mind for talking about his education significantly lately is Jon Hamm, and thatâs partly because he used to teach.
