Well that’s debatable. I’m not sure if you’re being serious or sarcastic, because he’s one of the greatest drummers in rock history.

People should go listen to the Peter Gabriel era of Genesis and listen to Collins playing there… I think far too many people just know him as a pop guy from the 80s, but dude was a seriously great drummer…

Ok, now explain…

Macho Man (it’s about a tough guy and there’s nothing at all homoerotic about it)

In The Navy (we really want our listeners to keep our oceans well defended)

Fire Island (when we’re warning you not to go in the bushes that’s because there’s sharp branches and we never knew gay people went there it’s a total coincidence)

Hot Cop (it was just really hot outside)

Go West (we just like the West Coast and there’s nothing Soviet Anthem about the hook at all it’s just a coincidence)

San Francisco (we had no idea there were so many gay people there and we just like Pier 39).

You Can’t Stop The Music (ok maybe there really isn’t any innuendo here…)

As an aside, I am realizing I know way too many Village People songs.

Despite being the other half of, “Wham! aka George Michael and that other guy”, Ridgeley has always struck me as a real stand up dude.

Great video as always from him. The Drake vs Kenny beef was definitely a highlight of this year. If nothing else, it cemented Lamar as the undisputed king of hip-hop, and Drake as a mediocre talent that fucked around and found out.

Okay, got it. The obvious thing to do is to bring the Schumann resonance to exactly 8Hz by detonating several thermonuclear devices, say in the 10 Mt range, deep down in the Earth’s crust in the right sequence. That should fix it.

An ex friend of mine (I cut loose all the assholes from my life decades ago so now I have no friends) handed ElVez a cheeseburger during a show and he ate it right there on stage and my ex friend was pleased.

did he bring the cheeseburger there with the intent to hand it to him? that’s some great planning.

I saw Paul on the second show of the Got Back tour.

In 2022.

His vocals weren’t what they used to be on some songs (Maybe I’m Amazed in particular was incredibly rough), but nobody really cared because he put on such an incredible show.

He was nearing his 80th birthday at the time, but it didn’t stop him from running around the stage for nearly 3 hours. I was in awe of his stamina. And to think he managed to keep doing that another 2 and a half years straight. That’s just incredible.
