Same. I didnāt see your post. I told some one āfuck youā and honestly I think it was the right thing to say to them even if it was the wrong place to say it.
Itās been a really sad few years anywhere online and the constant hate and ragebait is hard to deal with on the best days. Iām kind of bummed but I donāt know why I keep going back to a place that brings me sad feelings so often anyway so thatās been on me.

Yeah my post was shortly before yours. I think my exact words were, āI know Iām going to get flagged for this, but I no longer care. Go fuck yourself.ā I actually didnāt realize Iād get a month long timeout for that, and it doesnāt seem right, but I still have no regrets, and I would do it again. He was a troll. He was trolling, and getting away with it because he was doing it āpolitelyā and making sure he didnāt run afoul of the rules.
I did see that the rules were shortly thereafter modified, and that such comments as he was making will no longer be allowed, so if you and I played some small part in that change, it was worth a month long ban to me. I do think itās bullshit that the troll went unpunished, other than having comments removed.
