If you travel west of Fargo the I-94 crosses the continental divide but you’re surrounded by corn fields.

Been to the Rockies’ CD. Stopped at Tennessee Pass [10,424 ft (3,177 in new money)] in Colorado. Breathtaking. Lotsa pretty little bitty alpine wildflowers.

of course, trapped between “russia” and Cuba, we’d have to join the Commonwealth, and become the Greater Archipelago Nation of the Bahamian Conch Republic, but I’d be cool with that.
