She did an excellent job breaking down why their educational products fail, and not bringing in politics to it…

On 9/2/23, the Goyim Defense League and Blood Tribe held a march in Orlando, Florida where 55 neo-Nazis waved swastika flags and expressed their intent cleanse the United States of Jewish, LGBTQ+, and people of color.

Both groups are supported by tech companies who provide critical services that allow them to organize and fund their neo-Nazi activism, including campaigns of harassment, intimidation, and extreme religious, ethnic, and racial hatred.

This is so fucked up on a million different levels… They also mention the arrest of people working for the ATL Solidarity fund by the city.

Just a note that this particular prosecution is coming from the state, as the DA in Dekalb county, where this is all going down, recused herself… Meanwhile, the city has not been great on this either. Terms like “outside agitator” has been used by everyone representing the city from the Mayor on down. Given the history of that term with regards to the civil rights movement (a major part of which was headquartered in ATL!), it’s been deeply frustrating to hear that kind of language being leveled at the protesters by a Black mayor of a minority-majority city. The city is also doing everything they can to stop a petition that would put cop city on november ballot. Another issue with that, is that the location itself is not IN the city limits - it’s in unincorporated Dekalb Co (most of ATL is in Fulton co). The city owns the land, which used to house a penitentiary farm, but has not been in use for years. So, the people in closest proximity to this monstrosity are not allowed a say in it (the Dekalb co. commission signed off on the permits already). There was a push to get the petition expanded to the community nearby, but I don’t if that worked out…

Anyways, this is very depressing stuff and it really tarnishes the reputation that the city hopes to project (progressive, multi-cultural, inclusive).

DeSantis announced Descovich’s appointment to the prominent commission on Wednesday (6 September). The appointment is still subject to confirmation by Florida’s Republican-led Senate.

The nine-member panel is responsible for weighing complaints and investigating alleged breaches of public trust against elected and appointed officials as well as state employees.

Descovich wrote on X, formally known as Twitter, that it will be a “privilege to serve the state [she loves] as a member of this commission”.

However, Alejandra Caraballo, an LGBTQ+ rights advocate and civil rights attorney, warned that Descovich’s appointment was dangerous because she would “be able to investigate LGBTQ state employees and allies and systematically remove them from state government”.

Great article, except when it repeats the police’s and the laws’ ethnic slurs.

Not really sure what would be the right topic:

It shows that the more Republican control of a state, the worse it is for children. Like, duh.

And it’s all about budget negotiations.

On Facebook, Schroer posted a 3D photo of the burning and celebrated what he’d done, writing, “This is how we roll in St. Charles County! Burning down the swamp at St Charles GOP Freedom Fest with our grassroots bad to the bone fam. I’m very proud of how our county is finally coming together to ensure government is smaller, freedom isn’t just a campaign term, the constitution is honored, and our babies are protected (born and unborn). Things are heating up in God’s country.”

Because book burning means freedom? I thought it was nonsense when people would insist cars or guns or the like meant freedom, but this is worse.
