The Nazification of America

Leprosy has been curable for a while now too.

Argh.

Parallel to these Jewish wanderings throughout the world, is the migration of a similarly restless animal, the rat. Rats have been parasites on mankind from the very beginning. Their home is Asia, from which they migrated in gigantic hordes over Russia and the Balkans into Europe. By the middle of the eighteenth century, they’d spread over all of Europe. By the end of the nineteenth century, with the growing shipping traffic, they took possession of America as well, and eventually Africa and the Far East. Wherever rats turn up, they carry destruction to the land, by destroying mankind’s goods and nourishment and spreading diseases and plagues such as cholera, dysentery, leprosy, and typhoid fever.

Their home is in Asia…

Depends on the species. The Black Rat comes from southeast Asia.

from which they migrated in gigantic hordes over Russia and the Balkans into Europe.

The Black Rat spread by ship, across the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean. The Brown Rat may have spread by land.

By the middle of the eighteenth century, they’d spread over all of Europe.

The Black Rat reached Britain in the 3rd century. Competant Nazis might have said so, but these are incompetent Nazis. The Brown Rat in modern times-- quite possibly the 18th century.

Wherever rats turn up, they carry destruction to the land, by destroying mankind’s goods and nourishment and spreading diseases and plagues such as cholera, dysentery, leprosy, and typhoid fever.

The Black Rat carried the rat flea, which spread the black death. Competant Nazis might have said so, but these are incompetent Nazis. The Brown Rat has largely replaced the Black Rat, perhaps because they don’t live in large colonies, and because they are therefore less susceptable to the black death. In turn the spread of the Brown Rat is thought to prevent epidemics in Europe.

As for the diseases they do list, salmonella spreads through contaminated food, cholera and many types of dysentery through contaminated water, and leprosy through person-to-person contact.

So 2 true claims and 2 half-true claims out of 12. F-minus-minus-minus.

Unfortunately, fact-checking Nazi claims is rather like taste-testing piles of shit.

The Nazis don’t care how their claims stand up to scrutiny; they just like the “splat” and the disgusted looks of their targets when they start throwing them around.

And this would bring us right back to Dred Scott v. Sandford.

Trump terminating birthright citizenship (October 2018)

I think the trick is that they’re going to try for a novel interpretation of “and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.”

They’re going to try to say that, like occupying armies and foreign diplomats, migrants are “subject to the jurisdiction of” the country they migrated from.

It’s a fig leaf, and clearly contrary to the initial intent of the amendment, but unless Roberts grows a backbone, it might stick.

It’s not like it hasn’t come up before.

If I were a judge, I’d troll Trump by ruling that the executive order confers diplomatic immunity on the parents and children.

Bothsidesism is, it turns out, a fanatical cult impervious to evidence.

He’ll get re-elected for sure then. If you say you’ll keep out the brown people and kill the non-Christians, the TGOP base will keep you in office forever.

“Antisemitism is all the fault of those foreigners, nothing to do with 100% Americans.”

I know they’re using Vandal as a slur. It’s still literally saying that a certain ethnic group is responsible. I think that contributes to the problem.

Just want to add that after having experienced California for a couple of years, it’s not the leftist haven that’s so often portrayed in the US psyche. I’m still amazed by the amount of conservatism, classism, and racism that one encounters in daily life here.

Are you sure? I wasn’t familiar with the roots of the word myself.

It’s an ethnic group, to begin with.
