Reminds me of my conservative sister’s greeting on July 4 - “be thankful for our freedoms!” Well, yeah, she’s rich and white.
You know what we need to make Oregon great again? More graft!
They choose to overlook that the Night of Long Knives was not just to get rid of Ernst Röhm, but to get rid of the entire Strasserist wing of the party - the entire socialist worker part of the party was liquidated shortly after Hitler assumed power.
it’s not free speech when you have a captive audience…
Fraud is also not a protected category of speech, so outlawing advertising a method of “therapy” as safe and effective when it has been proven to be neither should be defensible, even within the US.
Edit: added sarcasm quotes.
That might be the best way to get rid of it.
So funny: a helpful guide for parents from Fox News, to convince children not to vote for socialism.

I just read this out loud to my husband on our drive home. I’ve never been so scared he’d accidentally drive us off the road laughing.
So they acknowledge people are better off under the scandinavian system after previously trying to dismiss it?
Fox news fails are often funny, but completely subverting their own propaganda like that, right at the conclusion, is hilarious!
Why does Fox News even need to write that down? It’s everything we’ve heard before. I could have written it for them!
An example of how the real special snowflakes pretend it’s Those Others who are spoiling everything:
Superbowl ad buys have always sucked, it’s just that the Fox writing team is finally an old enough crowd of millenials to see through enough of it to be bored.
The game sucked too, so there’s that.
I knew the guy responsible for the Bud Bowl. I saw his video of greatest hits. It was really funny in a really stupid level of humor. I mean, just the bottom of the bottom of potty humor - but also, funny and clever. I don’t see much funny or clever about beetloaf.
i actually thought the Burger King one with the old Warhol footage was brilliant. even better, i read that while he really was eating a Burger King burger, in the original footage he actually wanted McDonald’s, but they didn’t have one on hand for him to eat – so in the interest of saving time he just ate the Burger King one for the film.
[sheepishly raises hand] I… I like beetloaf.
I also like kugelis (Lithuanian potato/onion loaf served with sour cream) but haven’t had a really good kugelis since Chicago.
but on the humor level, it’s a no go for me.
That kugelis sounds good. I’d prefer it with applesauce though.
BTW we once had a cat named Kugel, who lived to be almost 19.
Kinda OT here . . . Sorry.
