Without a doubt. I always have to grow any brassica under netting else it gets destroyed.
Encourage wasps, they will munch on cabbage white caterpillars all day long…
I have no shortage of wasps. I’d just prefer not to have caterpillars in the first place ( on my veggies).
I suspected something like that. Wondering where they came from given the past 2 - 4 weeks over here hasn’t gotten above 40F, and has been mostly 25F-34F.
That’s our garden. Haven’t had problems with these guys or tomato hornworms for a while thanks to it.
They probably came from pupae that had been hanging in your house. If you left a window open caterpillars could have come in and pupated. I’ve had them pupate nestled against the window frame. The sun shining trough the window warms them enough to emerge.
Bravo!
Not here. We seem to communicate just fine via facial expressions, gestures, and varying tones of voice.
They’d just be one more thing for me to trip over. Bigwig would try to knock one around like a toy, no doubt lol.
Boone would chew it up.
Same! Except it only goes one way: cats > human.
Devo is playing Satisfaction in my earphones RIGHT NOW, and the lyrics in part are “hey hey hey.”
Synchronicity!
Oh I listened to Synchronicity by the Police yesterday.
Trust me - I started with them when they were barely-open-eyed kittens. I’m serious about it. We seem to get each other completely about 50-60 percent of the time.
I nearly drowned when I was a small child, and a few years ago, I was thinking about that incident for no particular reason while I was reading a book. I turned the page, and the main character fell in the water and was drowning and at that moment the song “Into the Ocean” by Blue October came on the radio.
