Poor guy. One of mine, also a ginger and white, was a terror until he was about 5, and then started to calm down, but 3 does seem a bit young for that.
Maybe the painkillers are just starting to wear off, and he’s still feeling woozy from them.

Hope the heart disease isn’t too severe. Our Alizarin (Ally for short) had heart disease, but with meds she lived to 11½. She was good at taking them in Pill Pockets.
She do look awful smug don’t she?
I asked for a new cat scratcher. We have one but looking at how my cat used it we thought he’d be more comfortable with a taller one. We put it together and he loves it, but my partner’s cat seems to love it for other reasons
Last night he felt very ill and we had to take him to the vet, after an ultrasound showed inflammation in his digestive system. We don’t know exactly why this happened, but I would bet on the new food we started offering him at the beginning of the month.
Tomorrow morning we will take him to another clinic for further tests and fluid therapy
to improve kidney function, as He needs drinking more water.
Thanks you for the posts, my friends.
Oh, no! Poor guy!! I’m glad you’re getting help from the vet.
More positive vibes sent from Southern California for a healthy recovery.
Here’s hoping for a quick recovery!
Poor guy. I hope the vets can get to the bottom of the issue.

Thanks you. Muito obrigado.
My wife took him to a clinic today for a blood test and fluid therapy with vitamins and electrolytes. We are waiting for the results of the tests so we can know what to do to help him.
BuddyCat (aka: Señor Gato Guapo) has donned his party attire for the fiesta de fin de año.
Happy New Year to all of the pet lovers and their charges. may we all have fortunate togetherness in the coming year.
Buddy says, “how you doin’?”
Recovering from the New Years Eve bunchanalia.
I’m not sure if I mentioned here, but did at TOS. Rabbits have a third eyelid that allows them to sleep with their eyes open. One of the only ways to know if they are sleeping is whether their nose is twitching.
No nose twitches this morning. He was more worn out than I was…
Party hard edition!
Mr. Feral is in kitty infirmary because he’s been walking funny for a few days and we’re trying for urine sample for his vet appointment in the morning.
He’s in no pain and is eating drinking going potty and begging for food off our plate.
Can’t imagine what’s up but our Care Credit is going to get a work out tomorrow.
Caramba. I hope you can find out what is wrong with him and can help him.
BudBud stayed in all night, as the neighborhood blasted boom-boom deep into the wee hours. he was not happy with the noise, but was comforted to sleep beside my bed. he still jumped a lot, but i wonder if he would have felt safer cowering underneath the workshop or porch than indoors with me?
all the kittehs are safe and relatively calm today!
She’s not allowed on the table, but luckily she found an alternative. Leia isn’t mine, but I was lucky enough to share her space while visiting family.
Leia is a lovely princess, isn’t she?
She is and she absolutely knows it! Unfortunately she grew up without a lot of interaction, so she’s not completely sure why people keep petting her. The in-laws are working on getting her more socialized and she seems to be doing better, but she may always be a “parallel play” kitty. (We took a nap together, by which I mean I was on the futon and she was on the cat tower next to the futon.)
