Of course it still has to pass the republican-controlled Senate, and signed by the orange-beaked twittersnipe. As one would need a little compassion to see that this is a good idea, I’m not holding my breath.
My Friday night date, Ernesto holding my hand while we watch tv. Mostly, he’s Ernie but sometimes he’s so debonair that Ernesto is more appropriate. We sat like this for about 20 minutes.
That’s so sweet! Cats so rarely tolerate having their puddy paws touched, much less held. Of the 7 we’ve had or have, only Talia has put up with it.
Those posterior puddy paws are precious.
from the time our cats were kittens, i’ve sort of massaged their paws. (i mean, those soft, SOFT toes, that have never touched anything harsher than carpet or wood floors, are just irresistable…). Now they both put up with me softly kneading them, clipping their nails a little, and Nick is SUPER paws-on/touchy (as in, likes to touch). he does this sort of thing with me, but not for 20 mins long. he gets bored of me, lol.
Yesterday, Dyson tried to steal a wasabi peanut from my wife’s plate. I think that might have caused a tummy. Fortunately disaster was averted.
I’m very glad it didn’t go wrong.
I once lived with a housemate who had a Westie. One day while I was cooking, I dropped a piece of jalapeño, and he ate it instantly, as I was bending down to pick it up. I felt so bad, and worse the next day when he had the . Asshole housemate accused me of doing it on purpose, which would be a completely fucked up thing to do, and I would never be so cruel. So I moved out.
Terrible thing to think of someone.
Woah
That’s neat… also… squirrel!
I hope “squirrel” is one of the buttons
Meet Sugarplum, aka Little Girl, aka Little Sugarplum Girl. She’s a feral that has adopted us. According to a neighbor (one that came & checked out my garage sale earlier this year), she was only survivor of a litter during the Flood of 2014 (water came up from the streets all the way to our houses! - I know, not much but something different from the usual having the power go out).
I took these at the same time I took the photo for the “Today’s View” thread.
