Omg. Love, love, LOVE this!
have some more.
this just happened.
Thank you!
(warning, not good news)
I’m losing my cat tonight. She seemed to be doing all right, and we had changed up her food and she was eating. But she suddenly took a downturn, and apparently tonight was wobbling while walking and just lying on the floor next to her food dish.
I’m stuck at work all night, doing work I could have just as well done remotely. My SO noticed the problem and took her to an emergency vet, and it’s been diagnosed as kidney failure. Options were $4k in treatment to stabilize and try to extend her life, or euthanasia.
I loved my little ball of fuzz, and this just feels so sudden.
Oh I’m so sorry, and even more so that you couldn’t be there for the final moments. But all the love you shared for all those years is what’s important. I’m so sorry for your loss.
Oh god, I’m sorry. Take care, okay.
(Hug) so sorry
oh no. i’m so, so sorry. :’ (
I’m so sorry. Losing pets is so hard.
I’m so sorry, friend.
I’m so sorry to hear this.
He can’t typeset for shit, doesn’t know his RGB from his CMYK, knows nothing about prepress, is lazy af, refuses to answer the phone, and types gibberish in my emails, but I still kinda want to swap places with Ernie for the next month or so. What could possibly go wrong with that?
I’m generally immune to guilt trips from people. My parents immunized me because their parents went heavy on guilt trippy bullshit. But, this guy has my number and I have no defences against feline guilt trips.
I fear the day I run out of treats, so I buy in bulk.
Felix, the big, friendly oaf, occupying my lap:
…and shy, timid Pretty Polly, who we lost in late 2018 from kidney failure. Not a clue how or why it happened. Despite our desires, sometimes nature has other plans:
(We both miss you, little girl.)
This fuzzbutt got his tick treatment today, but a little later i noticed an engorged one. On his asshole. I removed it, and a second one that was not engorged, because I’d want someone to do it for me, but yuck.
What a beauty!
The cat, not the tick.
Find the Sugarplum.
She’s come onto our back screen porch and napped for a chunk of a few late mornings/early afternoons, but not overnight. Yesterday, she came onto the porch of her own free will; usually, a food bowl set near the outer door does it. Also, she expresses affection rather aggressively, but oh well. And she has no bottom fangs, I can’t tell if any of her other lower teeth are missing.
What it comes down to is this: She’s adopted us. She even lets my son pet her sometimes!
