People using cats to spread misinfo sounds bad, but some cats are capable of their own misinformation campaigns.
This is George. He is sitting in my office chair, where I sit to work and make a living, all day M-F. He really likes my chair, though.
But, I need my chair, for working. So what Sir George does is come up on my desk and act all pitiful and make his feed me noise. Heâll even fake heading toward his food dish, then when I stand up and go be the food servant, he steals my chair.
I got the idea to put something in my chair to keep him out of it, but you can see how well that worked.
Whoever said that orange boys are not smart, that person never met George.

My cat loves to be near me while I work. I recently had my daughter on a zoom call with me and we had a second chair. After the call was over, Beignet decided it was his chair. So I worked with him next to me on his own chair (even though there is a bed right behind me). He liked it so much, Iâm thinking of setting up that way on the regular.

George will sometimes deign to take the other office chair, but itâs older, and less cushy. Sometimes I can move him to the cheap seats, but he haaaaaates being picked up.

My cats have taken to sleeping on the head/neckrest of my comfy office chair, despite the perfectly comfortable (and empty) chair positioned next to it:
Barely visible in the photo are white breaks in the chairâs black vinyl sides. That chair was only a month old and in like new condition when I adopted Nyla and her brother Ghost. I need to start checking my options for a durable seat cover.

i donât have a chair with a back for my work desk â i use a Swopper chair, like this:
the top/seat portion spins 360 degrees. This keeps Nick more or less from trying to be a chair thief, but sometimes he gets his nerve up and jumps on there when i get up. he then sits on it, spinning around and around. I call him âCircus Boyâ when he does that. sometimes i stop it spinning for him and let him sit there while i go do other stuff, and he just settles in, keeping it warm for me. Nora, on the other hand, never goes near it.
