We have pigeons who ride the subway in Toronto, so you never know …

These little monkeys came into my yard with their mother about 20 minutes ago;

If there’s a bird bath in the yard, you might get a baby raccoon hot tub party, and the cuteness of that is just over the top.

Sadly, that also attracts rats, so I haven’t put one out.

#8 involves a wee pupper playing with some, as Mine Host brilliantly termed them, Goth Corgis.

Pointy ears; check. Pointy snouts; check. So far they seem like corgis … no tails; no check; they must be a rare variety of tailed corgis.

I grew up with them, and the general rule we just let them be. That’s not to say I haven’t completely freaked out when a big one walked across the inside of the driver’s window when I was driving.

I don’t see nearly as many of them here in Brisbane as I did in Melbourne, but that’s ok. Summer here means a garden full of tent spiders and they are gorgeous, if you don’t mind the occasional hand-waving freak dance when you’ve walked through a web.

There was a singlet for that:

arachnidiot (ar ak NI di ot) - n. A person, who, having wandered into an “invisible” spider web begins gyrating and flailing about wildly.

P.S. I saw “huntsman” up above & thought , “oh, something like a harvestman?” (aka, “Daddy long-legs”) Then I saw the picture and about ran out of the room, all the way from here…

I used to travel to Sydney fairly often. I got used to using the car key to poke under the car’s door handle before trying to open the door.

Here’s a friendly guy who lived on my rental car for a week. Leg spread around 12cm

I thought the product shown briefly at 0:14 must be some delicious candy…but I see by searching that it’s laundry detergent powder :sweat_smile:

I’m sure it will be the next Tide pod challenge.

Was walking to my car this afternoon and found this bun, and they let me open my purse, get my phone and snap a pic!

(That is my car on the right edge. I pay to park in what we call the “princess lot” right across the street from work.)
