There is another vídeo showing a vulture trying to catch some cats.
It looks like it’s stuck in the wire covering the window.
Those owls are gonna grow up addicted to TV.
I noticed that too.
Biologists say that vultures do not feed solely on carrion, and that they can often hunt prey when they cannot find carcasses of dead animals.
The safety net, which was originally supposed to prevent the cats from falling, saved the animals from being attacked by the vulture, which is a bird of prey.
I have a feeling that I don’t want to watch that video.
Oh, It is ok. The cat scared the vulture, which tought the deep sleeping cat was dead.
Thanks! Okay, I’ll give it a watch. I know that cats chase bears, so they are pretty fearless.
And looking at the relative sizes; the cat could definitely take on that bird.
Fluvicola nengeta, aka Lavadeira-Mascarada, aka Water Masked Tyrant.
Nannopterum brasilianum, aka Biguá, aka Neotropic Cormorant.
There should be more birds with names like Tyrant. People should fear nature more.
It’s sure a trip and a half to see one of those sporting flying jesses, like the more usual falconer’s birds.
Perhaps one of the most “metal” things ever.
That picture on the left looks like someone in a costume from a horror movie. Made all the more horrific because the costume was clearly made at home by a madman.
They’re not called Harpy Eagles for nothing! Can you imagine being chased by one of those things?
I would rather spend time with Mothman.
