Yes. Taking a good bath. Today was a very hot day and the city hasn’t seen a drop of rain since January. The poor little birds are going crazy for water.

I think this is the largest and most common hummingbird here in town. I used to like to put sugar water out for them, but now with 3 cats at home it’s impossible. I usually take these pictures when I pass through the parking lot on my way to the office every morning.
I think I’ve seen almost all the birds and mammals that pass through here. The only one missing is the elusive and famous toucan that roams the neighborhood.
