I can (sometimes, not recently) hear them very close by, but have yet to actually see one.
A few(?) winters ago there were snowy owls in the DC area; my neighbor said he spotted one in the woods.

I’ve consistently counted 4. Their beaks are starting to look cardinal-shaped.
The nest is about a foot (30cm) above my eye level, so I hold the phone camera up into the arborvitae and snap several photos blindly. Pretty sure the nest is cemented together and to the branches with poop.
Bring out the cassowary.
I am surprised that he did not use he child as a shield.
Has anybody figured out how many he has?
