Thread of assholes

I’m shocked… SHOCKED… that the Daily Fail shielded a predator.:rage:

This happens far too often… everyone knows that someone is engaged in sexual abuse, but too many people just ignore it, because “oh well, what can you do!” Well, you can do a lot, actually!

Returned to the site of the crime to commit a new crime.

I’ve added him to the list of re-arrested Jan 6 rioters. Although I can’t see him doing much if any time for this; it wasn’t the fatal DUI, or soliciting a minor that some of the others have done.

I thought he’d be out quickly from that assault charge yesterday.

He’ll probably have to wait for another pardon.

I won’t be surprised if all the Jan 6 insurrectionists are given a priori blanket pardons, so they will have something like diplomatic immunity.

I don’t know if anyone has posted this story in another thread, but this is really scary. The scariest part is that the rest of the crowd at this town hall applauded these alleged security personnel assaulting this woman. We’re headed for dark times if shit doesn’t change.

Story with additional info:

The sheriff involved is a real piece of shit. And he use to be in the LA County Sheriffs department, so … shocked, not shocked.

I think someone did, but I can’t remember which thread… it’s super-fucked up. And yeah, if we don’t turn the tied, things are going to get dark. :sob:

Kudos to the police chief up there, though, who said this:

“I don’t care what your message is, especially in an open town hall like this,” White said. “We have to respect everybody’s First Amendment rights, regardless of what side of the aisle you happen to sit on. I know there’s some people up here who probably disagree with me and would like us to take action and maybe try to silence a voice that’s in opposition to theirs at a town hall, but there’s very little we can do with regard to First Amendment protections. We have to make sure people have the protections afforded them under the Constitution.”

Cour d’Alene has a bit of a… reputation. Police officers who move to that area have a certain shared outlook.

I could easily see him meaning, though, that the woman “had” to be dragged out because her yelling was interrupting the precious free speech rights of the speakers on stage.

I posted the YouTube video here:

To be clear, that is not what he meant. I didn’t include the rest of the police chief’s comments, but he specifically said that she should not have been dragged out, that interrupting speakers on stage was clearly not disruptive enough to warrant being removed from the building.

White said it’s not appropriate for law enforcement to forcefully remove a person from a town hall for speaking out of turn or shouting.

And later in the article:

White confirmed that Borrenpohl [the woman who got dragged out] was cited and released for misdemeanor battery because of the bite, though he noted that the officers who responded to CHS didn’t have access to the numerous video recordings that showed what happened before they arrived.

“Now that we are in receipt of several videos that show the majority of the event that we didn’t have at the time, (the battery citation) will be under review by our prosecutor’s office,” he said.

White said his officers declined the sheriff’s request that Borrenpohl be arrested for trespassing.

“We respectfully informed the sheriff that, since this was an open to the public event, we are not going to arrest anyone for trespassing,” White said. “That would be inappropriate.”

The police chief sounds decent. For a cop. The sheriff is clearly a fascist.

Notice how those street signs are in two languages. One is in a Finno-Ugric language and the other is in a Indo-European language.
