That’s been hard to determine. 2024 was apparently the deadliest year. The stats I’ve seen count all plane crashes regardless of cause or type of aircraft though. What concerns me the most are crashes resulting from a stressed aviation regulation system and I haven’t seen any data separating those types of crashes from other causes.

I haven’t read anything official, but apparently there were 40mph crosswinds that caused one of the plane’s wings to clip the ground
