TiVo confirms its customers will soon see ads before DVR recordings
So now that it’s rolled out, it’s not as bad as most of us feared. A single ad at the beginning of a recorded show, and you can skip it with a press of a button. I resent that they’ve done it, but not enough to make me ditch Tivo. Ironic that they did it right after implementing the auto skip feature for commercials actually in the recording, though.
