You can see the segments getting better as the Olympcs goes on.
I have to say CBS had a great suit of graphics for the Olympics. Whoever put that together did a good job.

iām so impressed by how well he mimics fred astaireās singing style, and those perfectly-styled parodies of songs from those old astaire movies ā so hilarious! i also love seeing young roddy mcdowell, and who knew that carol burnett had such fantastic legs?

Right? Itās a total gem. Really well done in every way. I love how Carol Burnett uses her body. She has a confidence with it that you donāt really see with a lot of women.

And I am the only one here who caught Tim Conway channeling character actor Fritz Feld who did a lot of desk clerk, waiter, etc. roles.

aha! i knew i had seen that somewhere before, but i didnāt know if it originated with the Burnett Show skit, or what. hilarious. Tim Conway had a bit of trouble deciding if he was going to be french or italian, haha.

I am finally getting to watch 3 Days of the Condor (itās on Kanopy if anyoneās interested).
Damn Robert Redford is a good actor. And what a complex, troubled character ā what he does makes sense within the movie, but heās definitely not the bookish boy next door he seems at first.

Good luck finding a copy to watch. Iāve actually seen the theory, in online discussions of this show, that AMC cancelled it after one season because it was getting too close to the truth.

what am i watching?
bond. james bond.
thereās a ton of them on netflicks right now, and iāve been gorging on them. yes, some of it is definitely unsettling, but omg, the fashions, the ultra cool mid-60s cars and furniture, and especially sean connery in his prime? fans selfā¦
i had to laugh because iāve noticed a reoccurring thing in the past couple movies: connery will go to his hotel desk to ask about mail or a package or whatever, and as he leaves the woman at the desk will TOTALLY undress him as he leaves. iām with you, 60s reception ladyā¦ he was SO fine back then. also, Miss Moneypenny, i love you. she dishes out just as much as bond does, and sheās good at it.
