When you’re watching some old episode of Star Trek and you recognize a guest star but you can’t figure out who it is

OMFG that’s Sarah Silverman

This dance sequence is for you:

In honor of Tim Conway, I’m gonna see if I can stream The Apple Dumpling Gang.

ETA: Watched it. That wasn’t as good as I remembered.

Why are their heads so big? Does the lower gravity of the moon do that?

That was the best! Much better than adding another tedious romantic triangle is to turn the show into a musical. I’m not even joking. All the supernatural characters should be breaking into song-and-dance numbers while walking down the street. Bring it!

Ooooh, thank you! That’s such a fun clip… and yeah, I’d watch an all-musical Lucifer.

I’m ashamed to admit, I haven’t watched Season 4 yet. I’m planning to get the 30-day Netflix trial, then cancel before the paid part starts. I just don’t feel like watching that much TV at the moment… even with the lure of Tom Ellis. Soon, though.

Just when I thought I was going to cancel Prime:

Why is CBS (once upon a time a free, public airwaves-using station) called CBS All Access now that it’s only accessible to people who pay a premium?

For the same reason “Unlimited Data” is the plan where you have to pay extra if you use too much?

Well that’s what you get when you mark down your Space to $19.99.

This is the first time I’ve looked at this show since its initial run. At the I was too young for it to make any impression on me, other than it was boring. I have to say the model work is surprisingly good. And they have some great props.

I will happily watch any Gerry Anderson production simply for the model work and props.

It was a rerun staple for me as a kid and I thought it was a pretty cool show and it had a really cool theme.

Looks like it’s not necessarily on Prime, here, though, but on Crave.

Comet TV (an Over-the-Air station, also on Roku) is showing a Space: 1999 marathon on Memorial Day, starting at 10 AM. They run a lot of movies (usually stinkers, with a few good ones sprinkled in) and blocks of shows like Stargate SG-1, New Outer Limits, and Babylon 5. These days I keep the TV on for background noise, and it’s usually on Comet all day long. I tune in and out, depending on what I’m doing, what’s on, and how good my attention span is.

Ew. Crave is a subscription too far for me. No-one I know who’s tried it has kept it for long – which is probably exactly why they’re looking for a tent pole series.

I have it and am planning on cancelling after this month. I got it for GoT but might as well catch up on ST:Disco and the Librarians while I’m at it.

i thought the first episode was tense, omg. i was in high school at the time, but i had no idea they came within hours of wiping out the Ukraine and much of eastern Europe.
