I really should get caught up. The last one I saw was the episode where Archer was floating in the pool.
I donât know, thatâs not a bad place to stop actually
what service is this streaming on? And do they want me to have a cable subscription? I caught the first 4â5 seasons on amazon, butâŚ
ARR MATEY
Had the shark been jumped at this point?
Iâve got to admit, this could actually tempt me out of my resolution to stay away from Phase 4. Especially if Foster replaces Odinson as Thor the same way that it happened in the comics.
Is anyone keeping up with Swamp Thing despite the cancellation?
Adrienne Barbeau alert!
Star Wars Episode Iv; bluray. Amazingly detailed. The movie still holds up, too.
Season 8 was dark and not very funny, Season 9 was dumb and not very funny, Season 10 is OK
Letâs just say if you skip straight from Season 7 to Season 11, you wonât have missed anything
They could have stopped after the cross-country cocaine-dealing rampage, theyâll never top that one
Awww, I loved the film noir season. But I love film noir, so.
Thatâs a great trashy film. ETA the original I mean.
We starting watching Endeavour and liked it, before weâd seen any of the Inspector Morse shows. Last night we just happened to start watching some new episodes we hadnât seen, and tonight had the Apollo 11 moon landing as a theme or backdrop to the murder mystery.
Total coincidence, and I just wish weâd seen it yesterday.
So much crazy shit has happened on Doom Patrol already, one forgets it hasnât even started S02 yet
I like Endeavour the best out of all the âclassicâ BBC detective shows, but anything Foyle runs a close second. I really like the feel of an every-man detective whoâs not a super-genius struggling against the common foe.
That said, Iâm watching all the seasons of Poirot, and while David Suchet cinches the character for me, the haphazard integrity of writing across the span is kind of irritating. Some are well-written, but some are downright sophomoric. Depends on who wrote the script that week.
Jumping in with my opinion of Endeavor. Itâs fine, but I think Morse was better written and better acted.
I havenât seen Endeavour. I think my favourite is A Touch Of Frost. David Jason nailed the role.
If you see Morse first (which most viewers would have the first time out), Endeavour acquires this lovely tragic patina though. The fresh-faced rookie who will parent the curmudgeon to come.
The Joan Hickson Miss Marple has a certain charm
Foyleâs War is terrific. I love Michael Kitchenâs understated portrayal. And the Samantha Stewart character has such a cute personality.
We saw a couple of series of Endeavour first, liked it so much we went on to Morse. What a difference in character. From that perspective, it was obvious that events are changing him slowly, so itâs been really interesting to see the transitioning. Period setting makes it cool too.
Iâve only been exposed to these shows because of my mother (who is a fan of pretty much the whole âcrime investigationâ genre), but isnât there a sequel series, too, about Morseâs successor?
