I finished my Stargate SG-1 rewatch, which I consider to be the end of Season 8. There’s a 9 and a ten but they aren’t good. I think I’ll watch Stargate Atlantis next.

I saw the Christmas in Leutonia episode and nearly plotzed at the deadly accuracy of Christmas with my grandmother. With a lightning bolt of understanding I saw how it was that my uncle’s neighbour was fond of calling him “Shmenge!”
The saddest bit was “New Wave Shmenge.” I am a big Talk Talk fan and I saw “Power to the Punk People” video before I saw the “Talk Talk video.” I nearly cried.

ETA 2020-10-20: My friend encouraged me to write to Ben Model, co-presenter of Silent Comedy Watch Party, to express the joys Tobin and I had watching each episode when we were both homebound. He wrote back, telling me he was moved to tears.

Love that theme song! That show’s next on my list after All In The Family, then after the Jeffersons is Maude. Maybe I should mix it up and watch an episode of each instead of watching through an entire show first. The blocks of shows they’d play on TV back in the day did have a feel to them that binge-watching a show doesn’t have.
