i was working on an illustration for an upcoming book and printed an entire run of what were supposed to be book plates, but i printed them on the wrong paper!
force of habit, i suppose. i used the heavy post card paper instead of the lighter wieght sheet i use for books.
SO! bonus post card coming out next month, after all!
enjoy!

my friend had me over for dinner and I helped season the ratatouille and cut the hanger steak but really it’s her rodeo. I just wanted to post it somewhere.
after it was cooked, I sliced a rolled-up, small handful of fresh basil leaves to add. it was already extremely flavorful so I only added two pinches of salt and carefully added a couple small drizzles of balsamic vinegar until I could just barely discern the balsamic flavor.
