Why don't we have a food thread? We should have a food thread

Any suggestions on making homemade BBQ sauce? I wanted to make this (similar to the sauce that the BBQ chain Jim and Nick’s serves, their Morgan Co. White Sauce):

But I also want to make a more traditional BBQ sauce (tomato-based, perhaps?).

After my recent experience with finding vermin wandering around my rice container, I decided to try something different. Instead of the usual grocery store rice I had been buying in 5 pound bags, I instead decided to try gourmet rice in a small bag.

I’m sad to say I could tell a difference.

The resulting rice had a noticeably lighter and cleaner taste. I suppose I will have to buy more of it in the future.

I’m still a bit too ignorant of theory to figure out exactly what flavor of Leftist I am… but I’m definitely down with power to the workers, and food for all!

Sounds like such a fun and well done project, too, with tons of social support.

I would also, but it’s certainly not the best looking cheesecake I’ve ever seen. It definitely looks 3D printed.

I’m much more interested in the types of food that could be enabled by this preparation method than by merely trying to reproduce existing foods, in much the same way that polymer 3D printing enables designing and producing products that cannot be created through other means.

It does seem well suited for snacks or hors doevres, something compact.

Okay, we’re nearing “The Jetsons” territory here…now we just need PFVs.
