So the free market deciding that coal and nuclear isnât that great doesnât apply any more? Wait I get it!! Those companies donated to Orange One and so now he is paying them back!!
Got it!
I guess that would be we are paying them back.
Bah, we donât matter!! We are only there to drain until we die!
Mises argued that it isnât a free market unless there is a capital market.
Since political power can create capital (e.g. intellectual property) and create profits (e.g. subsidies), there isnât really a capital market unless there is a sufficiently corrupt influence-peddling market.
Otherwise itâs some kind of socialist marketâŚ

The namesake bay is gone! Wow, thatâs a picture (or two) worth a thousand words.

Living on the slope of a volcano, they might actually have volcano insurance available for purchase.

I have read that the new land formed belongs to the state, according to law.
Ah, okay then. So, sure you have a half acreâŚbut it now starts 20â below the surface.
I think it meant lava displacing the sea . . . but I may be wrong!
âIâm sorry maâam but your policy clearly states âany and all damage from a stratovolcano.â See the footnote here on page 354. Kilauea is a shield volcano.â
