If I understand correctly, he can’t do that. He would need to be seated for his next term in early January, before T****’s appointments can have their hearings in the Senate. If he’s seated then, the ethics findings can still hit him in the nuts before he can be confirmed.

Take the praise, Doc, you deserve it. Sometimes simply not wanting to put up with the bullshit is what makes someone an amazing person, especially if it’s not putting up with it being inflicted on someone else. (Even with people they theoretically love, some people seem really comfortable with bs when it’s not aimed directly at themselves.)

They will disappear as if they never existed. His cult members will have no memories of them at all and official documents will soon no longer acknowledge that such things ever existed.

What makes me want to use the laughing-then-crying gif for this is that she was on “Faces of America” on PBS which showed that her family owned land in Texas starting in 1767, long before most white Americans even thought to come here. Her family isn’t the one that ought to be leaving.

Who the fuck set up that event?? Granted, the guy clearly doesn’t know how to throw an axe but you don’t set up a target range so that bystanders are in the line of fire whenever somebody misses the thing they were aiming for and you sure as hell don’t thow your projectile while people are walking behind the target.

This is approaching Dick Cheney levels of safety violations.

It doesn’t help that the Guardian is calling it a “newly formed department” when it hasn’t come close to being formed yet, and would require an act of congress to do so.

and with this total quack being considered Surgeon General material:

Ladapo and Kennedy would make a great tag-team ushering back in a world of diphtheria, smallpox, grippe, horrors and night hoss.
