If I understand correctly, he can’t do that. He would need to be seated for his next term in early January, before T****’s appointments can have their hearings in the Senate. If he’s seated then, the ethics findings can still hit him in the nuts before he can be confirmed.

Sometimes simply not wanting to put up with the bullshit is what makes someone an amazing person, especially if it’s not putting up with it being inflicted on someone else. (Even with people they theoretically love, some people seem really comfortable with bs when it’s not aimed directly at themselves.)

Who the fuck set up that event?? Granted, the guy clearly doesn’t know how to throw an axe but you don’t set up a target range so that bystanders are in the line of fire whenever somebody misses the thing they were aiming for and you sure as hell don’t thow your projectile while people are walking behind the target.
