My uromastyx passed away this morning. I had him 15 years, he was about 17. Honestly, I’m just shocked. I don’t even know where to put the ashes. He lived in a terrarium and didn’t have special places.

Actually, there are Meijers in OH, or there were, off of various places on I-75. I was living in Lexington, KY when they built one there in the late 1990s.
And the people who owned the house - my dad’s ex-mistress and her husband - did the kitchen. You’ll have to have a seance though, cos they daed.

Hedgehogs are fearsome.
That one’s technically an Orinoco crocodile, since we took the photos as supporting evidence for why hedgehog should win March Mammal Madness (my favorite thing on the internet)
The amazing science done at Pricklepants Labs was shared with biologists around the globe, but alas, hedgehog was not victorious.

This is Mondo. He is very handsome and affectionate. He lives across the hall from my mother. I am supposed to feed him twice a day while his human is away, but I go hang with him and watch CNN for half an hour or so four-five times a day. More, if I can manage it.
